One day in Kuala Lumpur

Tajuk kat atas cakap omputeh tapi entry still tulih melayu..aku bahasa English nih aritu dapat cangkul so kena sedar diri lah.

Trip nih last month tp sebab aku xde masa nak update (ekceli aku nak tulis guna English tp sampai skang baru 2 rangkap je) so agak lewat lah sket. Agak lama jugak aku x ke Kuala Lumpur nih lebih kurang 3 bulan so aku nak share je la apa2 yang menarik pasal KL. (org Kl xyah take pot lah)

 Breakfast is already served

From LCCT there's a few option getting to Kuala Lumpur. No 1 is the cheapest way but might be the longers wat; shuttle bus. It might took around 1 hour and the fare is RM 10...2nd ERL. From LCCT need to take a special shuttle bus first to Salak Tinggi ERL transit station before take the ERL to KL Sentral. The fare is RM3.20 shuttle bus and RM12.50 for ERL transit to KL sentral. 3rd the fastest but the most expensive way; by taxi. One way fare can reach or exceed RM 80.

The last days of the LCCT

Oh before I forget, you can also take a shuttle bus from LCCT to KLIA and from there you can take ERL (direct) which will cost you RM35 for ERL and RM 3.50 for shuttle bus. (Is it? Oh I forgot already)
My choice of course the cheapest and the easiest way, by shuttle bus. One hour sleeping in a powerful air conditioned bus is worthwhile the RM 10.

Arrive at KL Sentral around 11.00 am I think its better for me to roam around in Brickfields first before pursuing to Petaling Street where I'll stay for the night.

View while crossing using the pedestrian bridge from KL Sentral to Brickfields
Brickfields is also known as Malaysia's Little India.

Brickfields is one of the most strategic place to stay for those who's on a tight budget.

I don't know what this is...key chain, souvenir? I really don't know

A small path selling Indian's prayer accessories

From Kl Sentral take the LRT to the Pasar Seni station. It will cost you precisely RM 1. From Pasar Seni station it take around 5 to 10 minutes walk to  Petaling Street.

View from Pasar Seni LRT station

Before check in at the hotel I've book on booking.com , I decided to take a walk towards Pasar Seni which is nearby just across the LRT station.

The famous Central Market (pasar seni)

What do you aspect to find in Central Market? Local arts and sourvenir also local dishes which located at food court at the upper floor of the building. You can find most of things here from the local silk until fridge magnets.

The food court located at the upper floor of the building, serving local dishes..some of them...
A separated building at the back is an art gallery
Posters, portraits and what so ever can be find every where here

After 30 minutes roaming around Central Market I proceed to Petaling Street  which is not far around 5 minutes walk.
Petaling Street is a place which is famous shopping spree especially for those who doesnt have enough budget to shop at KLCC or Pavillion. Petaling Street is also famous for its fake branded items. You can find Versace,Gucci not more than Rm 100 here but f course the quality is as low as its price. Dont hesitate to bargain.
The market is not fully started yet

I booked my hotel which is situated at the heart of Petaling Street. It cost me just Rm80 (not includes Tax) that posess a queen bed without window. Lucky for me it has a small crt tv and also free WiFi.

Yup..this is the place where I stay.

 Not bad isnt it?

I arrive at the hotel late in the afternoon so I took a little nap after cleaning myself and some prayers. There are a lot of places to eat around Petaling Street. If you looking for halal food there are a few small shop just 2 minutes walking, just in front Kotaraya Shopping centre. Other than that some stalls outside Central Market would do.
The view you'll see once you exit the KLCC LRT station

The colour and the lighting is just appealing

Nights at Kuala Lumpur is just a waste if you didnt went to KLCC to enjoy the view of KL twin tower at night. Besides that you can do some shopping or just hang around and watch the colourful water fountain just beside KLCC.

A mosque nearby KLCC which was a great landscape for KLCC (also the place for prayer-now there are construction around it)

After visiting KLCC, I proceed to Bukit Bintang for a walk. From KLCC you need to take LRT to Masjid Jamek station and transit to the monorel before you can reach Bukit Bintang. Bukit Bintang road might be not as havoc as Malioboro road at Yogyakarta, but its still have it own distinctive character. There are a lot of entertainment navels here such as discotheque, pubs and karaokes not forget also the massage shop and other. I'm not into that kind of entertainment so I just sit and enjoy the street buskers live band.

If you looking for the easy way to approach the tourist spot at the max, you can try the hop on hop off tour. There are about 40 interesting places to hop around just cost you Rm45 per head. The receiptionist promote this tour for me but Rm 45 is too much for me course I took a peak into their website and they only charge Rm19 for a mycard holder. Sorry. Maybe later
